of the impressionist music, Diogo Carvalho also talks about

the compositions and how they directly impact on several

contemporary musical styles, like jazz or film music.

 

- Bossa Nova Roots: from Impressionism to Antonio Carlos Jobim -

Focusing on one of the most important musical movements from Brazil,

Diogo Carvalho shows how the impressionist music played a fundamental

role in Jobim’s compositions, with examples performed live on the guitar.
